WHITEWATER - Momentum shifted quickly, decisively and constantly during Thursday evening's high school baseball game between host Whitewater and visiting Lake Mills. But Whippet junior right-hander Lucas Van Norman was able to stymie a late rally by the L-Cats which allowed Whitewater to clinch a 7-5 victory in the season opener for both squads.
